Lovebird cage problem.... Help?

Try to take it back perhaps, if they don't then just keep an eye on your bird. He should be okay if you watch him very cafefully, it doesn't matter on the first few days anyway, he'll most likely just sit in one spot (With eating, drinking, ect) for a few days until he actually gets moving, it should take a week or so. So plan ahead when you can get a new cage.
