Question about problem with filter queen vacuum cleaner?

my majestic triple crown vacuum cleaner is throwing sparks out the top when i turn it on. can not use it as am afraid it will catch on fire, if you are knowledgable about this sweeper what is the problem? Is it easy to fix or expensive as i do not have much moeny but love the sweeper, will company fix this sweeper since it is a fire hazard?
