we hung out at a bar, first off I invited her last minute and she showed up and didn't know anyone else but me. we sat on a couch at this bar and talked the whole time. she patted me on the thigh a few different times, she didn't leave the hand lingering too long but she didn't pull away right away either. later that evening we hugged good bye. a few days later we hung out at her place and watched a movie, she sat down on one end of the couch and I wanted to sit next to her but was afraid to, so I sat on the other end of the couch. while we watched the movie she kept looking at me and making comments about the movie and sometimes our glances lingered. what does any of this mean? I hope she likes me more than just a friend. she has dated a guy though so I don't know if she is straight or bi, or what. they have been broken up for over a year. also she gave me a hug when I got to her place and a hug when I left. please help me figure out what any of this means.

Why is my case taking so long?

I was involved in a Class 4 Felony 8 weeks ago. I have no previous criminal history. I was very polite and cooperative with the officer that arrived at the scene. He took my information, told me that I committed a Class 4 felony and that I was going to jail. But after talking to the witnesses, he let me go. He warned me that there would be a warrant out for me. I hired a lawyer the next day. All has been quiet since. What should I make of this? Is "no news" really "good news"?

If you want to double major and it won't be too much work, do that. If not you can always get a BA in English and get your Master's in Journalism, I've heard a lot of people doing that. What's the best product for removing cat urine from carpet?

We recently moved our family 1200 miles and our elderly Maine coon has taken to peeing on the carpet in two places in the house. I'm working on addressing the peeing problem (which is difficult with older cats), and in the meantime I need a product that does a good job removing the urine stains and odor. I've been using Woolite Pet Oxygen and it removes the stain but doesn't completely take out the odor. I received my email confirming I was hired and that all I had to do was do some paper work via the New Associate Wizard via XPressHR Onboarding. I have suffered anorexia, bulimia, orthoexia and over-exercising in my life. In my late 20's I'd say I'm doing pretty well at recovery, but not perfect. The biggest is probably the RSPCA, they help injured animals, but if you just google it you can probably find 100s of wild life preservations sites and read up about them and donate to one you like the sound of. Also putting out bird feed, and bird houses and bird tables and bird bath etcetera are great ways to help out the bird population! :)

I loved it. It was full of detail, which I personally think is important in a good story. And you have a perfect amount of it. Love the rhetorical question for the opening, I think that makes the reader want to keep on reading and find out the answer. It seems quite dark and morbid, which I assume is what you were going for? Rabies question for you folks out there: Anyone have a serious answer for me?

So... Here's my question: I accidentally left my garage door open last night, and a raccoon came in and was poking about in my recycling bin and trying to get into the garbage can (why, I don't know, as both were quite empty- some lingering odor or odors, perhaps). In doing so, it clambered onto some various hand tools/etc. that are kept to the side of where the recycling bin and garbage can are. I managed to scare the animal out of the garage (it was pretty adamant about not wanting to leave, actually) without having to physically come in contact with it; supposing that this raccoon might possibly be rabid, is it possible for someone to contract rabies by touching those surfaces that the animal walked on/touched, those surfaces that it might have possibly, for example, drooled on? I didn't come in contact with any of those surfaces with my hands last night; closing the door entailed touching things that the raccoon could not possibly have gotten in contact with. I will, to be sure, need to be using the aforementioned hand tools some time in the days to come, possibly even later today. Yeah... I know, I'm being a bit of a paranoiac here, but does anyone have some good, straight to the point info for me? I thank you in advance for your replies.

I have this mucus in my throat when a real nasty cough. It started maybe 3 wks ago. I have had it b4 so at first, I started treating myself with leftover sulfameth w/out going to the doctor. It wasn't going away so he prescribed this other medicine instead. However, this one couldn't be crushed up (I can't swallow pills) so I was unable to take it. It was the weekend so I couldn't call to have him prescribe something else so I went back to the sulfameth for the weekend. The cough got better but just wouldn't go away. I called the Monday after & he prescribed amoxicillin in a liquid form. I took it but I didn't measure it out & just guessed the amount. I called 2 days before I was supposed to stop taking it & told him the cough was still lingering on & there was still mucus in my throat so he prescribed azithromycin instead. I immediately switched over to that - liquid form (5 days). The 1st day I didn't measure the amount. But today I did. Although it sounds better, it never completely goes away & there is still a lot of mucus in my throat. I can't spit it up b/c of my severe gag reflex. HELP!!! Why is it not going away? Should I go back to the doc? Do u think maybe the bacteria is gone but there is just leftover mucus that I maybe need to get rid of w/ Mucinex or something? I haven't disinfected the house at all so maybe that's the problem but I frequently wash my hands & sanitize. Plz help, I have my first date Mon & I don't want to still have this. Advice? Thx!!!

My boyfriend (bob) and I have been dating for about 11 months. He wants to become a police officer and is applying to the local police force in october. His cousin is a military police officer and said he might be able to get Bob a job on a military base 2 hours away from here as a security guard or something if he pulls some strings. What I see right off the bat is the 1x Battle Fader. If your going to run him, truthfully he's a beast at 3 at 1 is just a waste in just having him in there. I would go for 2x Krebons just because your luck into drawing into him isn't all that high at 1. Try and take out 1x dark tinker, 1x Junk Synchron, 1x Armageddon Knight, x1 Doom Lord. Same thing with the Battle Faders. Armageddon Knight at 3 works it gives you more to pitch from your deck to grave. Try running 2x Card troopers to start getting your grave set up. Try using 2x Dark Creator? This deck has the potential to be a good Dark Deck over all even though it's a Kaiba deck.

Last Wednesday I went into a restaurant with my resume to try and find a job because in the window there was a "help needed" sign. When I went in the manager asked me if I was busy that evening because he had just fired someone and he really needed someone to work the evening shift. I felt kind of on the spot so I just did it. I worked for about 4 hours and i got $35 in tips. I never got payed for the actual shift.. Stinky pickles - what the hell is that spice?

One of my favourite restaurants changed their pickles in the last few months. I like pickles - kosher, garlic, bread/butter, spicy, etc. But these pickles are...awful. Shape/colourwise, they are sliced lengthwise, translucent, light green, not crispy. But there's a spice in there that is just...nasty. Like sweat and bile mixed together. They are horribly pungent. The smell lingers in your nose. I picked it off my burger a couple of times, and the smell/taste lingers on the burger, and also on my fingers (even after multiple washings). I had thought maybe it was a bad batch, but they are still serving them, and I honestly think they are supposed to be that way. I now tell them "NO pickle", but I am just dying to know what the heck kind of pickles these are, and what that spice/flavour is. Does anyone have an idea? Thanks!

I'm 15 and I applied to a job about a month ago and just last Friday (the 18th) I called and talked to the manager and I asked her if she got my application and she said yes and that they might be hiring within the next 1-2 weeks so she would call me. In order for life to proceed smoothly one has to have direction. purpose the cause and effect of it. the answer to why? is a life long quest that is our portion to continue to seek those answers but in a way that allows us to learn from that which we pass through. from moment to moment. consider that all you have is this moment and you must try to make it more than it was before the last one. To learn or to proceed on the path to understanding why? To make it simple, search for that balance in wisdom that is neither surplus nor defiecient in understanding but rather that which allows a balance between all things. The answer to why is the simplest thing in the world yet when you search for it is more complex than quantem physics without formula's. Since this moment is all you have then try to make it a better one for yourself and for those around you. Because we are in effect connected to one another as part of the human race and are in debted to the state of the human condition. How do I get my mum to stop using that perfume?

I'm 13 and live with my mum and she has this perfume that she uses every day. But I can't stand the smell of it. It lingers in the air and makes me gag. I have had arthritis type pain all over for 3 weeks, what could i have?

Let me start with this, about 7 weeks ago I started having sharp pain in my upper abdomen on the right side. Went to the doctor, had blood drawn then had an ultrasound. Ultrasound showed I had 2 gallstones so 2 weeks later I had it removed laproscopicaly. Surgery went great, went home that day. 3 or 4 days after surgery I ran a mild fever for 2 days. Doctor didn't really think it was anything bc I wasn't in pain around my surgery area and my incisions were fine. The fever went away and I was fine. Then 9 days post op I started running a low grade fever accompanied by severe body aches/joint pain. I was pretty sure I had the flu. I was a little nauseated too. On the 4th day of the fever and aches I went to the doctor. It was dismissed as a viral flu that had to run its course. So I waited... and the fever last the rest of the week (8 days total). It finally broke and never came back..but something else lingered. The joint pain stayed and on top of it I have a cold. The joint pain is horrible in the mornings and at night. I literally feel like an 90 year old woman when I wake up. I take aleve and it helps but not completely. I went back to my doctor last Monday and they took like 7 tubes of blood. They ruled out rheumatoid arthritis and they said my liver functions were normal but white cell count is high. So now they are sending me to a hematologist!! They told me not to worry. They don't think I have cancer. But I'm still a little spooked. Its so frustrating to think after a surgery that in a couple weeks your going to feel better only to feel worse!!! Its going on 3 weeks that I've been dealing with this. Anyone have any similar experiences?? I also know the symptoms of lupus. I have absolutely no family history and they don't seem to think that's what it is. I don't have any rashes of any kind like most get with lupus.

Well for starters, this is a overall bad deck. It has no strategy, it's just random powerful cards. Since you like synchro mosters (I think) a synchro deck would be good for you (because there are so many different cards you can use). Try making a deck that tries to synchro as much as it can, and get easier to summon synchros like gaia knight, iron chain dragon, junk warrior (you need junk synchron), and magical android. These are all powerful and cheap. Also, there is no point in having dragon knight draco-equiste in here because you can't even play it (need miracle synchro fusion), which is way to situational.

Stinky pickles - what the hell is that spice?

One of my favourite restaurants changed their pickles in the last few months. I like pickles - kosher, garlic, bread/butter, spicy, etc. But these pickles are...awful. Shape/colourwise, they are sliced lengthwise, translucent, light green, not crispy. But there's a spice in there that is just...nasty. Like sweat and bile mixed together. They are horribly pungent. The smell lingers in your nose. I picked it off my burger a couple of times, and the smell/taste lingers on the burger, and also on my fingers (even after multiple washings). I had thought maybe it was a bad batch, but they are still serving them, and I honestly think they are supposed to be that way. I now tell them "NO pickle", but I am just dying to know what the heck kind of pickles these are, and what that spice/flavour is. Does anyone have an idea? Thanks!

Puppy has dead worms in feces?

We've had our puppy for about 3 weeks (he's about14 weeks old now), and he's been a bit of a troublemaker :) First he picked up coccidia and an internal bacteria, and now I worry we have some more problems. He's had 2 fecal tests (the last one about a week and a half ago) and has never been positive for roundworm eggs but we just gave him a dewormer and noticed him pooping out dead ones (at least in all my research that's what they appear to be)! He was also dewormed twice by the breeder, the last time about a week before we picked him up, and started taking heartguard plus the first week we had him (June 13). Is it possible that these could just be lingering adults that died in his intestines during his deworming (he was sick immediately upon picking him up, so maybe he was unable to pass them) and are just now passing through, or is it possible that he passed to fecal floats while still carrying the roundworm parasite (which I believe is pretty unlikely). I'm driving my wife crazy with all my worrying and I'm taking a sample in to the vet tomorrow to be sure, but if anyone has any experiences that could bring piece of mind so I can sleep tonight, that would be awesome! I have this mucus in my throat when a real nasty cough. It started maybe 3 wks ago. I have had it b4 so at first, I started treating myself with leftover sulfameth w/out going to the doctor. It wasn't going away so he prescribed this other medicine instead. However, this one couldn't be crushed up (I can't swallow pills) so I was unable to take it. It was the weekend so I couldn't call to have him prescribe something else so I went back to the sulfameth for the weekend. The cough got better but just wouldn't go away. I called the Monday after & he prescribed amoxicillin in a liquid form. I took it but I didn't measure it out & just guessed the amount. I called 2 days before I was supposed to stop taking it & told him the cough was still lingering on & there was still mucus in my throat so he prescribed azithromycin instead. I immediately switched over to that - liquid form (5 days). The 1st day I didn't measure the amount. But today I did. Although it sounds better, it never completely goes away & there is still a lot of mucus in my throat. I can't spit it up b/c of my severe gag reflex. HELP!!! Why is it not going away? Should I go back to the doc? Do u think maybe the bacteria is gone but there is just leftover mucus that I maybe need to get rid of w/ Mucinex or something? I haven't disinfected the house at all so maybe that's the problem but I frequently wash my hands & sanitize. My doc didn't think it was a virus b/c a virus would have went away w/in a couple days. Also, I have been staying up till around 3-4 AM & sleeping in late till like 3-4 PM. This doesn't have to do w/ it, does it? Plz help, I have my first date Mon & I don't want to still have this. When you lie down to go to sleep, close your eyes and try to imagine a nice place where you'd really like to be. Try to imagine that you're really there PHYSICALLY. Now while you're imagining all of this, repeat 100 times an affirmation like, "I NOW HAVE A FULLY CONSCIOUS OUT OF BODY LUCID DREAM." Make sure that you do this mental exercise every single time you lie down to go to sleep, seven days a week. Make sure that you don't think about anything except the affirmation and what you're visualizing before you fall asleep and that its the last thing on your mind before you fall asleep, otherwise IT WON'T WORK. You can in fact have lucid dreams in which case you feel certain that you're actually physically there. I promise you that it will feel so real to you and that you will have so much control over your dream, that it will frighten you with excitement. You can gain more control over the cells and organs in your body and totally heal yourself. You can learn to freeze time in your lucid dreams and stay inside your dream for very long periods of time. To give you an idea of how REAL kind of dream is, then let me ask you a question. How do you know that you're not really sound asleep right now at this very moment? Are you really sitting in front of your computer reading all of this data? How do you know that you're not really dreaming all of this? This is how real OOBLD (Out Of Body Lucid Dreaming) really is. Its very important that you NEVER smoke marijuana or drink alcoholic beverages when doing this mental exercise. This also includes mind altering pharmaceutical drugs. Stay away from all of these things or you will FAIL. Make sure that you remember not to think of anything else while doing this mental exercise before you fall asleep or you will FAIL. you sound a little like me :) it could be moderate depression but it could also be bipolar. if you find that ur have very frequent mood swings then it sounds more likely to be bipolar especially if your also finding that your becoming very impulsive and hyperactive and have compulsive needs to do stuff now ( my cousin who's really dear to me suffers from bipolar ) but if you feel like drained most days, and tired and constantly crying but have a few days of 'normal-ness' without being so high then its possibly moderate depression x

A Qwest tech replaced a phone jack, will I be charged?

My internet was down for two weeks and after calling customer service numerous times for the past week, they finally got someone to come out to my house. The tech guy comes into my house and wants to check the phone jack that leads directly into the modem. I didn't realize that "checking" meant replacing the jack with a new one. Qwest's policy is that they give you the options of doing it yourself, hiring an outside technician, or having the Qwest tech fix it, but this Qwest tech guy just did it without asking and left before I can ask anything. He left without saying anything about being charged for the service, nor did I have to sign anything or do any paperwork that proves the work was done. I'm hoping he fixed for free, but I'm afraid it would show up in a later bill for +$100. Did anyone have a different experience after a fix?

Am I crazy or what? (advice anyone)?

I've had this problem since senior year. I hired two boys to model for me, for my paintings one time back in 2007. when I asked them they were very kind and said yes. I asked them to meet me in front of the school at lunch time. I was sort of geeky and over wheight back then and I never thought they would come. but when I showed up there they were wating for me so then I started drawing them. when I was done they went on there way. both of the guys were so sweet and nice. at that time I was'int intrested in boys. Then we all graduated from school and I rememberd the painting I made of the two guys and then I began taking the sketches that I drew of them and I made saperate paintings. belive it or not I I began to fall for one of the paintings of one of the guys. the more I painted him the more it grew on me. to this day I have feelings for the guy. it's been 4 years later and of course I've lost wheight and I still like him. I dream about him more than any other person. but foutunatly he's got a girlfriend, I know this because I'm his friend on facebook. his girlfriend is beautiful and she has a nice smile. usualy girls hate the girlfriends of the one they like. but I'm not that way infact I'm happy for her because she has a wonderful boyfriend and it's not her fault it just happend for her. she must be very special to have a kind person like him. so am I crazy to like someone for 4 years strait or just crazy for falling for a guy in my paintings. who knows..... I was a bit taken a back with what my sister's tutor thoughts of me. I just find it a bit surprising that he said I'm a very pessimistic person with no confidence. Uhm. This was his first impression of me. Actually, I'm not that close with the tutor or anything, but when we see each other, we exchange hello's and talk for a bit. When my sister is not at home at the moment, and the tutor is waiting for her at the study area, I always felt that it was my duty to entertain the guest. You know for out of respect so that he wont keep waiting up. So anyway, our conversation lingered to what he thought of my sister. So yeah, he was saying my sister is like this and like lalala. Then all of a sudden, the topic suddenly reverted to me. And.. that's where he said that im pessimistic and not confident. OKAYYYY.. I know I'm a pessimist at times but these days, I've always been looking at the bright side lately. I realize that being pessimistic wont get me anywhere so I'm trying my best to always think about the better things in life. As for the no confidence... I think that just tugged a part of me. I felt a bit affected by what he said. I mean, I don't know why he thought of that. I'm a quiet person by nature, but I talk to people when I have to. I try to do things on my own when no one is there to fill me in for me. I try to do everything I can to feel confident about myself. Maybe I was a bit shy before, and now I can say is I think I'm all better. Not a 100% confident but I'm getting there because I'm still trying to find myself. You know, the whole soul searching. Well exercise is always good but don't overdo it with the dieting, you don't want to develope a eating disorder. That would seriouly suck.
